  1.              Grid Specbox

  3. Press the Gd-Lock button or the Grid
  4.          Mode button to enter
  5.  
  6. Item: Grid Overlay
  7. Type: Toggle Bar
  8. Desc: Switches on and off the Grid
  9. Overlay system for use on the work
  10. screen. Avoid switching it on with very
  11. small grid sizes or else the control
  12. response on the work screen will be
  13. very slow. The size of the grid overlay
  14. can be selected from the Size Option in
  15. conjunction with Width and Height
  16. selectors on the Grid Specbox.
  17. Opts: All Grid Options (GS)

  19. Item: Height
  20. Type: Infobar
  21. Desc: The value represented here
  22. indicates the Height of one grid or
  23. image square. This alters the height of
  24. the current grid size selected with the
  25. Size selector (left). This height also
  26. refers to the height of an image used
  27. by the Animate Studio.
  28. Opts: Size (GS), Animate Size (AM)

  30. Item: Place
  31. Type: Icon Selector
  32. Desc: When the Grid-Lock system is
  33. switched on, the position of the cursor
  34. can be set to the Centres or the
  35. Corners (Point) of any grid square.
  36. This option determines which of these
  37. two is put into effect.
  38. Opts: All Grid Options (GS), Gd-Lock

  41. Item: Size
  42. Type: Icon Selector
  43. Desc: Canvas supports up to 8 different
  44. grid size presets to be stored in
  45. memory. Each one has a user-defineable
  46. Width and Height (use the Infobars to
  47. the right to change the values). These
  48. grid sizes also refer to the image
  49. sizes used in Animation sequences, so
  50. you can have images of any size!

  54. Item: Swap Images
  55. Type: Action Bar
  56. Desc: By clicking on this option you
  57. will be presented with the current work
  58. screen. Drag the box (which is the size
  59. of the current Width and Height values)
  60. to an image and press the left mouse
  61. button. You should then hear a ping.
  62. Now choose a second image and do the
  63. same thing. The two images should now
  64. have been swapped around. Clicking the
  65. right button at any stage in this
  66. procedure will cancel the option and
  67. return you to the Main Menu.

  73. Desc: Same as Height but defines the
  74. Width of the current Grid size.
